Nick Jelinek
President/Founder
In 1995, Nick Jelinek founded Toronto-based Experiential Marketing agency - InField Marketing Group with one client and a staff of one. Last year, InField executed an average of 12+ events per day, 365 days per year across Canada, engaging with more than 5MM Canadians.
First launched six years ago, Nick also conceived the adventure racing series – City Chase. The program is built around teams of two battling through urban Chase Points or mini-adventures during a four to six hour race. With its beginnings in Canada and now with events in 35 global cities and 15 countries, this program that was conceived and now executed by InField has become something of a Canadian marketing success story. With a prime-time Canadian television show in ’08 and HD distribution of the annual City Chase World Championships on National Geographic Channel into more than 100 countries and a quarter of a billion homes, City Chase is now the Largest Urban Adventure Racing program in the world.
Thanks to City Chase, for the last four years, InField has earned the moniker of the industry’s Best Event, edging out branded events from household names such as the PGA and FIFA. In 2008, InField introduced Corporate Chase – the team building program – and in 2009 will introduce Campus Chase.
Nick and his wife Andrea, a teacher at Appleby College, along with children Jack, Will and Josie, reside in Oakville, Ontario.
