What Is City Chase?

City Chase is a unique urban adventure that requires teams of two to exhibit teamwork, resourcefulness, determination and the ability to make decisions on the fly as they search for ChasePoint challenges scattered in unknown locations throughout the city. Focusing more on the journey than the destination, participants learn about their city, their teammate, and themselves as they enjoy a full day of Laughter, Adventure and Discovery through an original and memorable urban race experience!!

How It Works:

The event starts with teams of two receiving a clue sheet detailing a variety of physical, intellectual, cultural and humorous challenges, designed to push comfort zones. Located throughout the city, these ChasePoints test Mind, Body and Spirit. To conquer this 4-6 hour urban event, teams run, walk and use public transit to navigate their way throughout city, while calling family and friends for help, accessing the Internet, and even employing assistance of total strangers. The first team to complete the required ChasePoints and cross the finish line wins!! Winning teams will represent their country at The City Chase World Championship.

CHASEPOINT HIGHLIGHTS:

Pulling a rickshaw in the streets of Singapore, rappelling down the South Tower of Navy Pier in Chicago, diving for fish in a Honk Kong aquarium, battling a raging car fire in Toronto, boxing against the Mayor, target shooting at a pistol range… and much more!
